Accomplished aerospace and defense leader, formerly Managing Director of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., with over 40 years of experience in strategic planning and project management. A gold medalist in Mechanical Engineering, he brings extensive board-level expertise and a commitment to innovation in the industry.
Cdr Sonal Saxena (Retd) holds a rich and varied aviation experience of more than 24 years. With a background of program management of two aircraft fleets in the Indian Navy, an Instructor for post-graduate program and part of Navy’s Flight Safety Audit and Examiner Team as sole technical member, Cdr Sonal holds extensive knowledge of aviation. He is also a IOSA qualified IATA Auditor along with AS9100D IQA certification and Risk management certification from American Society of Quality (ASQ). Presently, he is working on indigenous development of unmanned systems and autonomous projects. Passionate for aviation, he intends to positively contribute to future of aviation which is “Urban Air Mobility” along with the leading professionals in the country.
